Mrs. Emma May Case, 67, passed away at 2:50 a. m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Ward in Lost Creek, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Case was born March 12, 1871, in Upshur county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Swick. Surviving relatives include three daughters, Mrs. Verna Ward of Lost Creek, Mrs. Ella Westfall of Webster Springs, and Mrs. Mabel Carpenter of Gassaway; one son, Lawrence Case of Clarksburg; one brother, Charles Swick of Gassaway, and a sister, Mrs. Etta Cutlip, also if Gassaway.
