Mary was buried in the Perryman Cemetery which is now defunct. At some point in the past, her stone was broken off from the base and discarded into the woods next to the cemetery where it remained for a period of time before being recovered by L.B. Conover. The exact location of her burial plot is unknown. The stone was removed from the Perryman Cemetery in July 2010 due to all of the other gravestones in the cemetery being reinterred at the Conover Cemetery. The stone was placed at Freedom Cemetery on Oct 19, 2010, next to her son Alexander, to serve as a cenotaph. Special thanks to Charlie Roy for setting the stone, and Donna for sponsoring the memorial.
