Julia C. Alexander
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Saturday June 27, 2009 in Windsor, CA of cancer. She was 94. Julia was born June 15, 1915 in San Francisco, CA the daughter of Jose and Frances Pacheco. She was happily married to Raymond Cook Alexander from June 11, 1947 until his passing on September 11, 1974. Julia worked as a housekeeper, beautician, babysitter, salesperson and office worker for the federal government. She was the owner of Knopp's Bakery on Geary Boulevard in San Francisco. She greatly enjoyed traveling and did so with both friends and family. Julia is survived by her three sons, Dennis, Kenneth, and Richard Alexander and their wives, as well as her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be interred on Wednesday, July 8th, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 2930 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa, CA following a family gathering at the chapel.
