A Bartlett and William Wharton/Whorton are in 1820 census of Walton Co., Georgia-both adj. to Micajah Sansom (Sr.) and then his son, Micajah Sansom, Jr.Micajah Jr. sold lands of Jeptha Whorton/Wharton and Dolly his wife (daughter of Daniel Malone) in 1832 Walton Co., Ga. Daniel's other orphans were associated with Whorton also-his daughter Artemissa Malone Wallace's husband, Alexander, shared a land grant (Cleburn Co., Alabama) with Jeptha Whorton and their brother, Miranda C. Malone in Gwinnett Co., Ga. were securities of a suit involving a William Harris and William Whorton=who in 1813 Jasper Co., Georgia md. Dolly Sansom, likely a sister of Micajah, Jr. who married in the county in 1818. Bartlett is evidentally also father of Jeptha, or his son, William is a father of Jeptha, md. to Dolly Malone, orphan of Daniel Malone and his Sansom wife.
