On February 4, 2010, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Karen C Henry Johnson of New Martinsville left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on January 5, 1947 at Wetzel County Hospital to the late Sherman and Belle Shuman Henry. Karen joins her loving husband of 19 years, James F Johnson in heaven. She was also preceded in death by her brother Howard F Henry.

Karen is survived by Andy and Heidi Johnson of Venetia, PA, Gregory Johnson of Xenia, OH, grandsons Isaak and Owen Johnson who were her pride and job, sister Janet (Bill) Johnson of Sistersville, WV, sister-in-law Rosalie Henry of New Martinsville, WV, and nieces and nephews.

Karen was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Martinsville. She enjoyed cross-stitiching and sharing her creations with family and friends. Karen was an avid reader, Sudoku-solver, she loved listening to music and had a knack with houseplants.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00am at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Biram officiating. Interment will be at Paden Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Sistersville Ministerial Association, 206 S Wells Street, Sistersville, WV 26175
