Robert Heinrich Grady

Funeral services were held Jan. 25 for Robert Grady, 52, a lifetime resident of the Village of Saukville. Mr. Grady, of 231 N. Mill St., died Jan. 23 after a lingering illness. (cancer) He was a member of the Saukville American Legion and its 40 and 8 Club, the Ozaukee Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Veterans Club of the Wisconsin Electric Power Co. He also was a past commander of the American Legion. Mr. Grady had worked as a pump operator at Wisconsin Electric Power Co. plant at Port Washington. He was born Mar. 25, 1922, at Saukville, the son of Henry and Ella Niemeyer Grady. On Feb. 15, 1969, he married Eleanore Thielke of Grafton. He is survived by his wife; three brothers Donald and Harold of Cedarburg and Allen of Stoughton, Wis.; two sisters, Janet Steffen and Lila Poege of Cedarburg. Services were at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Saukville, the Rev. Joseph Charlebois officiating. Burial was at Union Cemetery Saukville.
