Retired elementary school teacher Lucile E. Seller, 86, of Pana died at 2:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 29, 1995 at Pana Community Hospital.
She was retired from teaching at the former Lowell Elementary School (in the 600 block of Kitchell Avenue), and Lincoln Elementary School after 42 years.
Surviving is a sister, Doris Thiele of Pana; three nieces, two nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7 by Dr. James Gardiner at First United Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery, rural Pana.
There will be no visitation.
McCracken Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials: First United Presbyterian Church, of which Miss Seiler was a member and elder, or Kemmerer Village, rural Assumption.
Lucile was born to J. "Harry" and Myrtle Hanna Seller on Oct. 18, 1908 in Pana. She attended University of Illinois in Champaign for two years, and was graduated from Millikin University in Decatur. Her memberships also included the Women's Society, Tuesday Club, P.E.O., and Pana Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Miss Lucille Seiler was the second and third grades teacher at the Lowell "South" School in Pana, Illinois. She was a very good teacher and was very jovial. She was one of my favorite teachers in all my years in school.
