Mary "Sissy" Abbott, 49, of Centerville, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at her home.
She was born June 27, 1966 the daughter of Ernest and Mary(Ballanger) Henderson in Centerville. She attended the Centerville schools. She was united in marriage to Carl Abbott Sept, 14, 1998 in Centerville. She loved to paint fuzzy posters, playing pool and sewing.
She is survived by her husband Carl of Centerville, two children, Gene(Kelly)Stansberry of Centerville, and daughter Michelle Stansberry at home, her mother Mary Henderson of Centerville, five brothers and sisters Ernest Henderson of Seynour, Dennis(Mary)Henderson of Allerton, Teresa(David)Macumber of Queen City, Mo., Mike(Tanya)Henderson of Centerville, Mark(Heidi)Henderson of Queen City, Mo., two step-children Penni(Jodi)Crane of Centerville and Neil(Adrian)Cooksey of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, April 16 at the Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor Ken Mehrhoff officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 2-8 pm with the family present from 6-8 pm. at the Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Exline Cemetery, Exline. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at the funeral home.
