Pioneering ordained minister in Alabama for the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). Terry and Lillie served as Pastor of several churches located in Northern and Southern Alabama, South Georgia, and Florida. Charter member and builder of the Piedmont Highway Church of God, now named Wellsprings Church in Hokes Bluff, Alabama.

Terry and Lillie Cora Lankford Pike were married by Rev. G. A. Dunn on December 20, 1931. They built a home on land gifted by Lillie's parents Earnest Lamar Lankford and Ara Amanda Ford Lankford. There they raised their 5 children until her death in 1961. He was a tall man standing 6'5" tall. He died from complications from a stroke.

He retired from the United States Government, as the Supply Manager for the U. S. Air Force Southern Command. In 1969, he and his second wife Rosa Lee moved from Tampa, Florida to Mobile, Alabama where he had moved after Lillie's death in 1961. After Rosa Lee's death in 1988, he moved back to his home in Piedmont, Alabama and lived there until his death.

The son of John Thomas Pike (1876-1938) and Nancy E. Diggs Pike (Buried New Bethel Hokes Bluff Alabama) His wife was Ms. Lillie Cora (Lankford) Pike (1911 - 1961). Father of Ms. Doris F. Phillips of Buford, GA; Mr. E. Franklin Pike of Piedmont, AL; Mr. A. Jack Pike of Piedmont, AL; Mr. Bobby D. Pike of Buford, GA; Rev. Thomas T. Pike of Mobile, AL; Grandfather of Zachery Keith Phillips III of Gallatin, TN; Amy Pike Hilburn of Piedmont, Alabama; Todd Pike of Piedmont, AL; Brent Pike of Piedmont, AL; Kimberly Pike Smith of Piedmont, AL; Tracie Pike Duke of Mobile, AL; Great Grandfather of Zachery K. Phillips IV, Whittney Amanda Phillips, Lindsey McCord and Lauren McCord. Great Great Grandfather of Hannah Lilyan Phillips, Jackson Paul Phillips, and Cora Lillie Belle Phillips.

After Lillie died, he married Rosa Lee Luckey Ainsworth in June 1962.
