Blanche L. (Lafleur) Armington, 75, of Bristol, widow of Charles H. Armington, died peacefully on Sunday (March 13, 2005) at home.
Mrs. Armington was born on September 13, 1929 in Bristol and was a daughter of the late Adrian and Yvonne (Lamoureu) Lafleur.
She was a longtime Bristol resident and member of St. Ann Church, Bristol. She also lived in Florida from 1988 until returning to Bristol in 1996.
Mrs. Armington is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Richard and Cindy Armington of Bristol, and Raymond and Jeanie Armington of Manchester; three sisters, Jeannette Vallee of Terryville, and Germaine Caminiti and Theresa St. Pierre, both of Bristol; four grandchildren, Richard, Lisa, Christopher, and Jamison Armington; two great granddaughters, Nicole and Alanna; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Bristol Hospital Hospice, especially her nurse, Caren, and Dr. Barry McNeil.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (March 16, 2005) at 9 A.M. from Funk Funeral Home 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Ann Church, Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
