Walt was my brother-in-law.

He was the oldest son of Olof George Hausken and Frances Maude Moffett.

He was married to my sister, Velva Jo CAPLE, on June 23rd, 1951 at Williams Air Force Base in Arizona.

Walt and my sister had five children together, all of their names beginning with the letter "M":

Michele Aanen, Marcia Fran, Monta Ann, Michael Sean, and Matthew Owen HAUSKEN.

Walt was a wonderful, handsome, and loving man. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force where he flew over 100 missions in Korea before coming home.

Walt's death was a terrible accident. He had built an off-road buggy for himself and his family to play in. On one of his first "test runs" Walt lost control and the buggy flipped into a ditch breaking his neck. A doctor friend of Walt's was riding with him at the time but saw that Walt was losing control and jumped out to save himself. As you can imagine this was quite a shock to his family as Walt was so full of life.

Our family will always remember him with love and happy memories.
