Katherine White Bell, age 100, of Farragut passed away suddenly Friday afternoon March 26, 2010.
Katherine was a member of Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was an avid sports fan. She retired from Ideal Electric Company after 40 years of service.
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, J. William Bell; parents E. J. and Ethel White, and four brothers.
She is survived by her sister, Wanda Kalthoff, special nephews, Tim Kalthoff and Jeff Kalthoff both of Knoxville, Robert (Lynell) Bell of Asheville, North Carolina; great-nephews Matthew (Janet), Jeffrey (Lindsey), and Judson Kalthoff all of Knoxville; great niece, Shannon (Clay) Carver; great nephews, Robert III (Dana), David (Rebecca) Bell all of Asheville, North Carolina; special caregivers, Katie and Frankie.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon on Monday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12 Noon with Reverend Leonard Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Tennessee Diabetes Association or to Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 400 Everett Road, Knoxville, TN 37934.
