Mrs. Mary Graham Died At Arcata Home Monday Morning

Mrs. Mary Graham of Arcata, widow of the late Joseph Graham, died at the family home at 11:30 o'clock Monday morning following a brief illness. Mrs. Graham was one of the best known women in the community for her good work and many deeds of kindness. A host of friends will mourn her passing. She was born in County Antrim, Ireland, October 14, 1865. She leaves three children, Mary Graham and Emerson Graham of Arcata and Mrs. Harry McLean of Scotia. She is also survived by the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. John McKeown and Mrs. Robert McAllister of San Pedro, John Kane of West End, Alex Kane of Shively and William Kane of Ireland. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Arcata Presbyterian church and belonged to Arcata Chapter No. 207, Order of Eastern Star. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 o'clock from the First Presbyterian church in Arcata with the Rev. C. P. Hessel officiating. Interment was made at Myrtle Grove cemetery, Eureka.
