Mrs. Lillie E. Egler, 83, died Wednesday morning at the home of Mrs. Otto Doenges, 401 South East street, with whom Mrs. Egler had been staying for the past few weeks. She had suffered a two-year illness.
The funeral will take place Friday at 10 a.m. in the West Street Christian church. The Rev. Robert Morris will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Egler was born Jan. 25, 1871, in Tipton county, the daughter of John and Sarah E. (Smith) Thatcher.
On Sept. 11, 1889, the deceased was married to Ora M. Egler in Tipton county. The couple moved into a home on the corner of State road 28 and U.S. 31 shortly after marriage and remained there until death.
Mrs. Egler is survived by four children, Mrs. Inez Dennis; Paul,Oren and Leo.
