Born in Fulton, she was a homemaker. Her husband, Robert V. Cox, preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Jerry Lee Cox of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Roberta Sheeks and Carole Hammond, both of Lexington; and two brothers, Merl Hammond of Arkansas and Bill Hammond of Texas.
Services at 2 p.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, Eddingfield Chapel, Wabash. Calling two hours before services. Burial at Falls Cemetery, Wabash.
