CELESTE ROBERTSON LUCKETT, 99, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Luckett was born to Celeste Hill and J. Lake Roberson, a Clarksdale attorney. She was the great-granddaughter of U.S. Senator H.D. Money and the granddaughter of U.S. Congressman Shed Hill. She attended the University of Mississippi, where six generations of her family have attended. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority and named Most Typical Co-Ed. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, and The Sewing Club. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Mrs. Luckett is survived by her children, Celeste Luckett Stewart of Memphis, Semmes Luckett, Jr. of Clarksdale, and Lucretia Luckett Boyle and her husband, Tom of Bend, OR; her grandchildren, Tommy Boyle of Missoula, MT, Lucretia Money Boyle Kinnear and her husband, Jared of Portland, OR, Devin Boyle of Portland, OR, Celeste Weeks of Clarksdale, Elizabeth Weeks Weston and her husband, Steve of Jackson, Frazier Weeks of Memphis, Sara Weeks Wittich and her husband, Marcus of Atlanta, GA, Kate Weeks, Voldrich and her husband, Mike of Denver, and Jennifer Weeks Walthal, and her husband, Ward of Memphis, and 12 great-grandchildreln. She was preceded in death by her husband, Semmes Luckett, a Clarksdale attorney, and her daughter, Claudia Money Luckett, and her brothers, J. Lake Roberson, Jr. and Shed Hill Roberson. Funeral services were held, Friday, March 5 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale. Burial followed in Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home
