ADAMSON, Peggy Ann - McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Peggy Ann Adamson, age 64, was born December 24, 1943 and died March 10, 2008 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a short illness. A retired employee of A.O. Smith and a member of the Pentecostal Church, she was the daughter of Delcie Bain Ervin of McMinnville and the late Robert Ervin. She was married April 14, 1962 to Norman W. Adamson of McMinnville. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, Kathy Adamson of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shannon Adamson of McMinnville; grandson, Eric Adamson of McMinnville; brother, William Paul Ervin of McMinnville; three sisters, Emma Jean Poss and Linda Fults both of McMinnville and Janie Neal of Smithville, TN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Earl and Juanita Adamson of McMinnville and Ray and Sue Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 in High's Chapel with Rickey Mitchell, Wade West and Tifford Gunnels officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
