Jeffrey Basinger died at NorthBay Medical Center, Fairfield CA, after a sudden illness. He was 17. Born in Bountiful UT, he was a senior at Fairfield High School who lived in Fairfield the past 1 1/2 years after moving from Rohnert Park CA. He was active in the Latter-Day Saints third ward Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include his parents of Fairfield; two sisters, three brothers; and maternal grandparents, Lester and Aileen Braasch of Truckee CA; and paternal grandparents Kenneth and Virginia Basinger of San Lorenzo CA.
