Mollie's father was Zebedee C. Pike, a native of South Carolina who served in the Confederate Army in Georgia. He and her mother Sarah Gantt were married in Fulton, Georgia, on 6 Jul 1856. His date/place of death is unknown. Her mother married H. F. Martin on 24 Nov 1869 in Fulton, Georgia. The extended Gantt family made the move from Atlanta to Texas in the 1870s, where Mollie married Thomas Jefferson Thrasher in Paris, Lamar county, on 24 Mar 1880.
