I'm looking for his wife, Ida Mae (Bennit) Cabin or Cavin-Peter. The Most Holy Trinity Parish Catholic Records: The marriage record, records that she had to show her divorce papers from a previous marriage. Then Tony & Ida were married on 23 Aug 1941-St. Louis, MO, in the parish rectory by the parish priest. We don't know if Ida remarried after Uncle Tony died in 1951. According to the marriage record her maiden name is Bennit not Cavin. At the time of his death Ida was apparently still living according to his obituary. They didn't have any children together. But according to his family Ida had one daughter. Her name is Harriet Mae Cavin or Cabin, from a previous marriage. Harriet died about 1934 about the age of two years. What has happened to Ida since 1951, & her daughter since her death, is another family puzzle to solve.
