Bliss Wayne Via, 56, of Lyndhurst, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Augusta Health, Fishersville.
He was born February 21,1953 in Waynesboro, a son of Waltine Thompson Via of Waynesboro and the late Robert O. Via.
He was a member of Glovier United Methodist Church.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his daughter, Candice Lynn Via.
Also surviving are his wife of 39 years, Barbara A. Via of Lyndhurst; 2 sons, Bliss W. Via, Jr. & Keith A. Via, both of Lyndhurst; a sister & her husband, Victoria & John Blye of South Carolina; a brother & his wife, Eugene & Carolyn Via of Richmond; 5 grandchildren, Della Mae Miller, Brianna Nicole Via, Keith Allen Via Jr., Xavier Joseph Reed, and Andrew James Davis; and numerous nieces & nephews.
A service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 1, 2010, at McDow Funeral Home by Rev. Charles Wiest. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
