STELLA LEE COFFEY ALEXANDER, age 87, passed away Friday, February 25, 2000.
She was born on January 24, 1913, the daughter of Henry and Sallie Criswell Coffey. Both parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by 3 children Harry Alexander of Oakland, Kentucky, Betty Watson of Lawrence, Kansas, and Helen Reid of Warrior, Alabama; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren;; 2 foster sons Bobby and Jackie Lawrence; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceding her in death are all her brothers and sisters.
She was a retired House Mother with the Baptist Children's Home at Glendale, a member of the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church and a member of the Monticello order of the Easter Star#526.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 29, 2000 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bobby Slagle officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery.
Hoyt G. Hickey & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
