Bobbie Lee Green, 87 of Maypearl, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008, at her residence. She was born to the late John William & Amy Ann Kelley McCaghren on October 16, 1920 in Birome, TX. Bobbie was a Methodist and was the first woman tax appraiser for the city of Houston before retiring. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Ron Patronella and his wife, Mary of Houston; daughter, Mary Beth Herrell and her husband, Odell of Maypearl; sister, Mattie Morrow of Houston; she is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Bell Spring Cemetery, Abbott, TX with Rev. Tommy Mathers officiating.
