Fort Worth--J.P. Ballard, 89, retired from Vandervoorts Dairy, died Wednesday in Forth Worth.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
J.P. Ballard was born Sept. 15, 1907, in Stevenson, Ala. He had been a Forth Worth resident since 1918 and worked for Vandervoorts Dairy until retiring. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest Hill.
Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Nadine L. Ballard of Forth Worth; son, Jerald P. Ballard of Alvarado; sisters, Rowena Holliday and Billie A. Brown of Forth Worth and Mildred Smith of Colleyville; and several nieces and nephews.
