George is the son of James and Susannah Naff Montgomery.

I have some additional information and suggestions to enhance this memorial. George Montgomery was born about February 1838 in Franklin County, Virginia. His parents were James Montgomery and Susannah Naff Montgomery. George Montgomery married Martha Jane Hopkins on January 01, 1863 in Franklin County, Virginia. The last time that George Montgomery was found in Ancestry.com or Family was in the 1920 census for Douglas County, Kansas. However, both George and his wife are buried in Centropolis, Kansas Franklin County in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. What makes it more interesting is that George and Martha’s daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth P. Montgomery Shuler and Jacob Shuler, were last found in Centropolis, Kansas Franklin County but were buried in Pleasant Grove, Kansas Douglas County in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The daughter and her parents just did the exact opposite of each other. In my opinion, since George Montgomery died in 1921 I would say he died in Douglas County, Kansas but was buried in Centropolis, Kansas Franklin County. This your memorial and I am only presenting facts and making suggestions but you can choose whatever to do or not do with what I have provided.
