Annapolis--Henry Baldwin, aged 72 years, died suddenly last Wednesday at the residence of his brother, William P. Baldwin, Anne Arundel county. The funeral will take place Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church, Arnold Station, this county. Interment will be in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.

Henry Baldwin was one of seven children born to Anne Arundel County farmers Henry Baldwin Sr. (b. 1805) and Susannah Pearce Baldwin (b. 1809). Henry Baldwin Jr. and his wife, Mary, had a daughter, Linda, in 1881. The family appears to have settled in Anne Arundel County very early--they may be related to the Richard Baldwin who was a county founder.
