Nichole Lyn Beery, 22, born March 22, 1987 in Yakima, Washington passed from this earth on September 18, 2009 in an automobile accident. Nikki attended various grade schools in the Yakima Valley until she moved to Redmond, Washington and there continued her education. At the age of 16, Nikki was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and began a courageous battle. Once Nikki was able to re-enter school, she did that just like everything else - full force. While attending BEST High School, she was class president and was a student of the month in the Greater Seattle area. Nikki loved to model - both hair and runway. Her love of animals drove her to volunteer at a veterinary clinic. Nikki was not afraid of work and did so at various jobs including retail, talent scouting for a modeling agency and starting her own house cleaning business. Her love for school brought her back to Everest College where she earned a degree as a Medical Assistant in November 2008. Nikki had every intention of continuing her education at Central Washington University to study Wildlife Biology. She loved people and there was no person that crossed her path that she wouldn't help - all those extra kids at Christmas!! Nikki was a sports enthusiast, loved to play any sport in school and watching the Seahawks on Sundays. Nikki also loved all things outdoors - best outdoors woman her dad ever saw and was very excited about her first hunting adventure.

Nikki will be greatly missed by her mom Diana L. Beery, her father Arthur Beery, Jr., her step dad Tom Gabbard, her step mom Debra Delatorre, brother Beau Beery and his sons Cole and Laisen, step-brother Gavin and Lisa Upton, step-sister Alesha Upton and her son Emiliano, aunt and uncle Linda and Jacob Cook, more-than-cousins David, Felicia and Jocelyn Alexieff, JJ Alexieff and Tyler and Tiffany, Shannon, Willy, Samantha, Alison, Kaylie and Owen Baker, Jacob Lucey, Joshua Rosenburg, Shane Rosenburg, Jeremy Bertram, fiance John Ward, best friend Shannon Sims, her constant side-kick Jada and an amazing and loving network of extended family and friends. In passing, Nikki joins her grandparents Clayton and Donna Rosenburg and her uncle Jim Rosenburg. Nikki, you gave us all so much laughter and we will all miss you more than words can say. We love you.
