Mrs.Asbell was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County.She was the daughter of the late W.J.and Era Abney Bass and the widow of Julian C.Asbell. She was co-owner of Asbell's Clothing Store and a homemaker.She was a member of Sweet Home Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors are her son,Charles C.Asbell of cochran;her brothers,James Mose Bass and Obie L. Bass both of Cochran;
several nieces and nephews.
Mathis funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
