Faye H. Atchison, 88, of North Little Rock, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009.
She was born March 9, 1921 in Mineral Wells, Texas to the late Samuel and Sue Vaughn Hughes.
Faye was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Atchison, sister, Inez Newberry and brothers Jorman Hughes, Bruce Hughes and J. B. Hughes.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn Bullard of Scottsboro, Alabama; Sue Plank of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Bruce Atchison of North Little Rock; sister, Shirley Keeter of Stephenville, Texas; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2009 at Briarwood Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Reddock officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at Moore Cabot Funeral Home and also from 10-11 a.m. at the church, prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
