SULPHUR Funeral services for Eulice ''Turk'' Benoit Sr., 86, will be at 3:30 p.m. today, Oct. 22, in Hixson Funeral Home.
The Revs. Larry LaFleur, Kenneth Adamson and Chris Broussard will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery.
Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. A rosary was said Thursday.
Mr. Benoit died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1993, in Sulphur.
A native of Choupique, he was employed by Union Sulphur Company and was also a self-employed carpenter/contractor.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Octavia Benoit; one son, Eulice Benoit Jr. of Walker; one daughter, Dorothy Vice of Vinton; two brothers, Dostie Benoit of Port Arthur, Texas, and Lennie Benoit of Vinton; two sisters, Marie Richardson of Orange, Texas and Gertie Powell of Sulphur; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Care Help of Sulphur, the family said.
