Funeral services for Cecil Ray Prewitt, Sr., 57, of Hornbeck, were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at the Oak Grove Bible Baptist Church in Hornbeck, Revs. B.C. Ellis and John Northway officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Betty Prewitt and brother, Randy Prewitt and is survived by his sons, Jeffery Arthur of Simmesport, Billy Prewitt of Russellville, Ark. and Ray Prewitt of Hornbeck; daughters, Elizabeth Jones of Leesville and Jennifer West of Hornbeck; sister, Debbie Prewitt of Hornbeck; brother, Ben Prewitt of Hornbeck; friend, Glenda Prewitt of Hornbeck; grandchildren, Kelsey and Copeland Corely, Madison, Dustin, Katie and Hunter Jones, Whitney Martin and Willow West.
