Bobby Joe Snow, 76, of Jack Fork, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, in Shawnee. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne with Dr. James B. Crowson officiating. Burial will be at Snow Family Cemetery in Jack Fork. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Born Oct. 6, 1932, in Jack Fork, he was the son of Sam and Lula (Wallace) Snow. He served in the United States Army and was a gunner in the Korean War. He retired from Climax Mining Company after working there for 26 years. Survivors include three sons, Doug Steffins, Evert, Wash., Ed Steffins, Greeley, Colo., and James Snow, of Jack Fork; one daughter, Laurie Sheesley, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Lula Snow; one brother, Sammy Snow, and one grandson, Bryan Snow. Pallbearers will be Mathew Ross, Brian Ross, Leslie Cloud, Kevin Cloud, Jason McKinney and Brycen Overton. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Scheel, Lanny Cloud, Clint Farmer, Dick Griffin and Earl Copeland.
