Gwen Altman, 54, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 2008 at 2:00 p. m. in Georgetown Church of Christ. Officiating will be Mr. Fred Ady. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

He was born June 21, 1953 in Georgetown County, a son of the late Robert Altman and the late Dorothy Mae Howard Altman.

Mr. Altman was a retired employee with Georgetown Steel Corp. and retired Broker in Charge with Premier Realty. He was a member of Georgetown Church of Christ. He enjoyed people, boating, traveling and all the beauty of life.

Surviving are; his wife, Charlotte Maxine Altman of the home; one son, Gwen Allen Altman, Jr. and his wife Olga of Charleston; one brother, Maxie Altman of Georgetown; a number of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends and extended family.

He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Wayne Altman, a sister, Gloria Jean Frasier, and an infant son.
