Portland, Maine, October 30, 1949. Miss Carlile Patterson Porter of Philadelphia and Prout's Neck, Scarboro, Maine, died here today in a hospital at the age of 31.
During the recent war Miss Porter was Assistant Staff Director of the Philadelphia Red Cross Chapter. She was a member of the Junior League, the Acorn Club and the Colonial Dames in that city.
She was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late General David D. and Mrs. Winifred M. Porter. There are no immediate survivors.
