Mr. LeRoy Howard passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis County, MO., at the age of 87 years, 4 months & 23 days. Leroy was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Sikeston, MO., & was the son of John Wesley Howard & Norma Lee 'Jenkins' Howard. Also preceding were: 3 Sisters: Pearl Jokerst; Betty Brotherton & Mamie Howard. 3 Brothers: James Howard; Albert Howard, & 1 brother, in-infancy.
LeRoy was: * a member of Farmington First Baptist Church; * a US Air Force Veteran of World War II; & * a member of LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416 of Farmington. LeRoy & LaDon would have celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on August 1, 2007 !
Survivors Include: his wife, 1 Son, 3 Sisters, 1 Brother, 1 Brother-In-Law, and 3 Grandchildren. Also surviving are several Nieces; Nephews & Cousins.
Visitation: Sunday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Monday, 7:00 a.m.
Funeral: Monday, 10 am, July 23, 2007,
at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.
Interment with Full Military Honors will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
Memorials to : * Farmington First Baptist Church; * American Heart Association; * American Diabetes Association &/or * American Cancer Society.
