Funeral services for Marcia Dee WALKER REED, 78, of Stilwell, were held Friday, April 3, at First Christian Church with Bro. Jack Steele and Bro. Larry Farthing officiating. Interment was in the Cox Cemetery in Morrow, Ark., under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
She was born Sept. 21, 1919 in Canehill, Ark., to Virgil Lee WALKER and Dessa FERGUSTON WALKER. She died Tuesday, March 31, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church. She was married to Kay REED on May 26, 1940 in Canehill, Ark.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, Jack WALKER; four sisters, Reba DAVID, Buena Vee WALKER, Zula PITTS and Julia WALKER.
She is survived by: her husband; one daughter, Kaylene of Texas; one son, Gary of Mo.; six grandchildren, Tracy and Jason of Texas, Marcia, Jeff, Jeremy and Heather, all of Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Aaron, Hannah and Mary Kaylene; and two sisters, Ina of Okla., and Una Dell of Ark.
