Richard Ira "Red" Young, 45, of Marianna Died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in Marianna.

Richard was born in Marianna, Arkansas August 20, 1963 to Sammy Edward Young and Helena Christine Jordan Young.

He worked for the May Farms of Brickeys, he was a hard worker and respected by his peers. He was also a loving father.

He is survived by a son Caleb, daughter Amber and stepdaughter Ashley; his mother Helen Snowden of Marianna; 9 sisters Barbara, Janie, Judy, Clara Faye, Joyce, Virginia, Diane, Beverley and Gayla; and 5 brothers Larry, Rusty, Bobby, Jim and Eugene.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Young: 3 brothers Bob, Jerry and Bill; 1 sister Betty Sue.

Pallbearers will be Richard Chism, Danny May, Roger May, Danny Walker, Robert Wooten and Kevin Hudson, Honorary Pallbearer Harvey Helms.

Services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, August 10, 2009 at Roller-Citizens Chapel with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Moro, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday 9th of August from 6-9 P.M.
