DAVENPORT — Timothy J. "Mex" Bribriesco, Sr., 54, of Davenport, died Sunday, August 2, 2009, in Davenport. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 6, 2009, at 10 a.m. at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the family.

Mex was born April 17, 1955, in Muscatine, the son of Thomas and Betty Jane Bribriesco. He was united in marriage to Sharon "Shari" Bachelder on August 8, 1998, in Davenport. Mex most recently owned and operated Bribriesco Trucking Company of the Quad Cities. He was a generous man who loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle and his beloved dogs, Lulu and Einstein. He belonged to the Iowa District 15 ABATE and Blackhawk ABATE of Illinois.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Shari, Davenport; children, Kathy Griffin, Davenport, Kari (Eric) Myrold, Las Vegas, Nev., and Kory Griffin, Davenport; grandchildren, Kyra Amari Rose Griffin and Hannah Rose Griffin, both of Davenport, and Kenzie Lynn Myrold, Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Thomas (Laurie) Bribriesco, Jr., Davenport; sister, Mary Ann (Gordon) Striegel, Davenport; his father, Thomas, Davenport; mother and father-in-law, Rose and Ken Bachelder, Davenport; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-law, Scott (Diane) Bachelder, of Guam, and special friends, Brad and Debbie Neff, Davenport. His mother and sister, Judy Marberry, preceded him in death.
