* Funeral mass for Osia Louella Benning, 64, of Route 2, who died Wednesday afternoon in Coffeyville Memorial Hospital, will be celebrated at 1 pm Saturday in the Holy Name Catholic Church.
Mrs. Benning was born April 26, 1919, in Valeda to Roy and Lucy (Davis) Shores. She attended school in Valeda and graduated from Labette County Community High School in 1938.
On July 12, 1944, she married Lawrence T. Benning in Coffeyville. They made their home on Route 2 where they farmed.
Survivors include her husband; and a brother, Harold Shores of Jetmore.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Holy Name Catholic Church Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society.
Friends may call at the Ford-Wulf-Bruns Edgewood Chapel until noon on Saturday.
