Mrs. John M. (Alpha Omega) Berry Canada, 69, long-time Oklahoma City area resident, died Monday at Hubbard Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Putnam City Baptist Church with burial in Ford Cemetery, southeast of Oklahoma City. Bill Merritt Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Smith County, Tenn., Mrs. Canada moved to the Oklahoma City area in 1910. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Other survivors include two sons, Edwin Lee Berry, 911 N. Post Rd., and Martin C. Berry, 617 NW 14; seven daughters, Mrs. Mytis Stone, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Inez King, NW of city; Mrs. Lucille McIntyre, 7115 NW 39; Mrs. Josephine Ward, Hope, Ark.; Mrs. Francis Ramsey, Denver; Mrs. Jeannie Walker, 7520 NW 29, and Mrs. Dorothy Martin, 4007 N Rockwell; two brothers, Walter Woodward, Norman, and Smithy Woodard, city; and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Wheeler, Moore and Mrs. Siena Sumpter, Ochelata.
