Death came as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the head. The investigating authorities, Sheriff Emil Klawitter, and County Attorney W.E. Garrison, found a .44 magnum revolver beside him in the garage at the Brant home at 739 East Seventh street (sic).
Survivors include his wife and three children.
