Mrs. Mary Jimmie Tompkins, 61, died Monday at her home in Crozet, after an extended illness. Her husband, the Rev. W. A. Tompkins died Dec. 16 last.

Mrs. Tompkins was the daughter of Paschal N. Gibbs and was a native of Bedford County VA.

She is survived by two sons, Professor C. W. Tompkins, principal of Lovingston High School, and Clarence Tompkins of the Crozet Pharmacy, and a step-daughter, Mrs. M. A. Hartigan, Jr. of Norfolk. She also leaves three brothers, Walter, John and George Gibbs, and three sisters, Mrs. A. F. Olgestreet, Mrs. George Buttoughs and Miss Ida Gibbs. - Times Dispatch-
