Son of Thomas Bennet Briggs and Amanda Elizabeth Gallaher. Husband of Anna B. Miller.

Obituary:
BRIGGS—F.H. Briggs, a former well known resident of this city, died early Saturday morning at his home at Burnt Cabins, Fulton county. He had been employed as a machinist in the shops at East Altoona until four months ago, when, following a severe cold, he contracted tuberculosis and was forced to quit work. He then returned to his native home at Burnt Cabins, where death occurred. He was born Jan. 17, 1882, was employed here most of his life and is survived by his wife and three children. Also by a brother, J.E. Briggs, of this city, a well known engineer on the Pittsburgh division. The funeral will take place from the home on Tuesday afternoon.
