A former Gentilly resident, Pheobe Hogan died Thursday at Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, where she had made her home in recent years.

Born July 21, 1911, at Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada, Miss Pheobe Hogan was employed as a housekeeper for the Rev. J. J. T. Phileppe in Warroad from 1928-1936 and in Gentilly from 1936-1960. She resided in Emo Ontario with her parents for the past few years.

Miss Hogan is survived by her mother Mrs. E.W. Hogan, of Thunder Bay, Ontario; five brothers, Joseph, Gorden, both of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Arthur, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Andrew of Fort Francis, Ontario, and Barney of Kent, Washington; and seven sisters, Mrs. Paul (Josephine) Vaudrin of Crookston, Minnesota; Mrs. E. (Murial) Krahn of Scottsdale, Arizona; Mrs. William (Senja) Faber of Thunder Bay, Ontario; Sister Mary Columba. O.S.U. of Chatham, Ontario; Mrs. Mello (Pat) Schebiel of Kitchener, Ontario, Mrs. Mitchel (Lillian) Wicheruk, Atikohan, Ontario, and Mrs. John (Doreen) Derochers of Montreal, Quebec.

A Requiem High Mass will be offered from St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on Monday.
