She was the beloved wife of James L. Abernathy and devoted mother of Karen Abernathy and the late Mark S. Abernathy. She is also survived by a loving grandchild Zola Barnes and her son-in-law Eric Barnes.
Friends are invited to call at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc. 3631 Falls Road on Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
