Son of Samuel & Rebecca Challender. Husband to Joanna L. Danser. Four of his children are buried here in Jacobstown Cemetery. Mary Challender Burke is buried in New Egypt Assumption Cemetery. Edward F. Challender is buried in the Jacobstown Masonic (Schoolhouse Road) Cemetery. Two other children (Laura and Rebecca) burials are unknown at this time.
