Christie Carlson Toone passed away on June 13, 2009 of a sudden illness. She was a beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister, and best friend.
She was born May 24, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eldon and Charlene Carlson.
Christie graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1978. She married her high school sweetheart, Matthew Toone. They were married for 26 years and together had two children, Jeremy and Jennafer. Her life revolved around her family.
Christie was currently employed at D-Dahle Mazda, where she loved her co-workers and her boss. Christie was a lady of many talents, including sewing, crocheting and many other crafts. She could strike up a conversation with anyone she met, and she could find the good in everyone.
Christie enjoyed camping with her family in Pine. These trips will give cherished memories to her family forever. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. "Christie, we will miss you so much!" "Christie, I will love you forever-Matt."
Survived by her husband, Matthew; children, Jeremy and Jennafer; mother, Charlene Carlson; brother, Terry Carlson; sister, Cori Carlson Allred. Preceded in death by her father, Eldon Carlson.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Prairie Seventh Ward Chapel, 5154 West 7000 South. A viewing will be held pon Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, and on Friday morning from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be held in the Croydon Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
