Former Resident Dies in the West
Word has been received by W. F. Sparks of the death of his father Daniel Sparks in Wenatchee, Washington. Mr. Sparks was for twenty-three years a resident of this city and he has a host of friends among the other residents who will be sorry to learn of his death.
For the past several years Mr. Sparks had resided with two of his daughters, Mrs. J. T. Baker and Mrs. Purdy.
In addition to the two daughters Mr. Sparks is survived by three sons, W. F. Sparks of this city, Reese of Covington and Jim Sparks of Raleigh,VA also by two sisters, Mrs. Hough Smith of Oldtown and Mrs. Proctor Sloane of Portsmouth, Ohio.

He and his wife were separated at the time of his death and she is buried in Boyd County, Kentucky
