Eris was a life-long Hillsdale County and Lenawee County area resident. She graduated from Sand Creek High School in 1940, attended County Normal for one year and was a member of the Prattville Community Church. She enjoyed sewing and cake decorating.
Surviving Eris besides her husband, Max of Hudson are three daughters, Karen (Fred) Sherlock of Muskegon, Michigan, Sharon (Tom) Fidler of Waldron, Michigan and Susan Mattice of Germany; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Munk of Williamston, Michigan; two sisters, Lois (Clark) Bennett of Adrian and Barb (Junior) Howdyshell of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Roy (Dorothy) Kishpaugh and Dean (Joyce) Kishpaugh all of Sand Creek, Michigan, George Kishpaugh of Jackson, Michigan and Ken (Sarah Ann) Kishpaugh Jr. of Linden, Michigan; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Eris was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Dale Munk, two grandsons, Chris and Tim Ort, and one sister, Dorothy Anderson.
Funeral services for Eris Munk will be Saturday, October 1, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Rev. Martin Bacalia officiating. Interment will follow in Prattville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
