Mrs. Lemond was born January 27, 1870 in Crockett county, Tenn., the daughter of the late Tom and Mary Greer. She attended the schools in Crockett county and became a member of the Presbyterian church at an early age. On February 13, 1889, in Friendship, Tenn., she was married to William H. Lemond and the family moved to Pemiscot county fourty years ago.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, William T. Lemond of Hayti and Leonard Lemond of St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs Vera Carmean of St. Louis and Mrs. Clyde Long of Braggadocio; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
